We have a new Group!

Fiona currently leads not one, not two, but three vibrant singing groups on the Mornington Peninsula. Each group is guided by the same inclusive, joyful approach as her workshops and special events, drawing on a rich variety of music from many sources. There are no auditions and no need for prior musical knowledge or experience—everything is taught by ear and sung a cappella.

Sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and full of encouragement, creating a space where everyone can feel comfortable and have fun. The focus is on the joy of singing together and making beautiful music, without pressure or stress. These groups aren’t performance-driven—although occasional opportunities may arise, participation is always completely optional.

Whether you’ve been singing your whole life or only ever sung in the shower (an excellent place to start!), you are warmly invited to join.

Wednesdays: Larking About at Paula’s

Thursdays: Larking About at The Pig & Whistle

On Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, we gather to sing at the Pig & Whistle Pub (365 Purves Road, Main Ridge). It’s a warm, lively group where laughter is just as much a part of the evening as the singing itself. James, Michael, and the entire team make us feel genuinely welcome in their beautiful, atmospheric venue.

We usually round off the session with a relaxed drink or two in the pub’s charming English-style gardens—the perfect way to unwind after a joyful night of singing.

Fridays: Larking About on Rye

On Friday afternoons at 1:00 pm, we gather for singing sessions at the Rye Community Centre, located at 27 Nelson St, Rye, where a team of lovely, supportive people help create a welcoming space to sing and have fun together.
